Mendoza Malbec and the 2007 Vintage
This table will focus on ten sub-regions of Mendoza. The idea is to
clearly demonstrate the unique characteristics and qualities of each area.
The ten subregions will each be represented by three wines that have not only
been specially chosen, but specially made for
the event. This is a completely unique opportunity for you to unlock the secrets
of Mendoza.
Off the Beaten Track
Often talked about yet seldom seen, there are well over 100 different grape
varieties planted in Argentina and a vibrant culture of experimental winemaking.
This table features 25 examples of wines made from non-mainstream grape varieties
and from a variety of micro vinification programmes around the country.
